FINE DANDY

There’s a memory I’ll always cherish of my boy running in a dandelion covered field above Viroqua Wisconsin’s park bowl. He was surrounded in a see of yellow, completely awestruck and blowing his wishes in the wind at every opportunity. He’s 6 now and he still loves dandelions. He picks them for me daily from the time the arrive. We have a special relationship with this little plant most people see as a pesky weed. He handpicked this dandelion for our photo, and it was taking this photo, that I first taught him about macro photography. It’s a special piece to me that inspires me to keep whispering wishes to for the wind to carry into existence. It seemed like the natural option for my first-ever art print drop.
